Re-Cap

Since graduating in December, I've left the nest in Louisiana and moved to Los Angeles, CA. Originally I was asked to work for a movie company as a production accountant. That clearly didn't work out... hence, my first experience with "big time movie producers." Luckily, I fell into working for another movie company as the VFX Coordinator. Sounds fancy, right?

Also, I am 'act'ively pursuing a career in acting. HA.HA. It has been a very eye opening experience. It takes you out of your body and makes you look at yourself from a different perspective. Everyone judging. Not knowing. Rating you compared to everyone else. It can be a good or bad experience, I just have to keep my head up and know that survival comes from staying true to myself, my moral values, my family, and my friends.

The quote in Hollywood is.. "If it isn't on iMDB, it doesn't exist." Thankfully, this page does.

It is such a surreal feeling to know that I have pursued a lifelong dream of moving to California, while managing to get into the movie business as well. I am eternally grateful for this opportunity and I couldn't have done it without my family and God.
